Angeline Viggiano

August 19, 1922 - December 22, 2020

Angeline (D’Eredita) Viggiano, 98, of Syracuse passed away on Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Angie worked as a manager at Lerner’s Clothing Store for many years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Pompei Church and a member of the St. Theresa’s Society. A long time resident of the Salina School Apartments, Angie was considered the “Mayor” of the apartments. She is predeceased by her husband, Dan Viggiano; daughters-in-law, Donna and Jeanne. She is survived by her daughter, Angela Thornton; sons, Anthony, Dan, Jr. and Charles (Sue) Viggiano; sister, Chrisenza Fanizzi; daughter-in-law, Kathy Viggiano; grandchildren, Heather (Chris) Cawley, William J. (Adele) Thornton, Jr., Jennifer Thornton, Dan (Trina) Viggiano, III, David C. (Wendy) Viggiano, John J. Viggiano (Cortney), Nikki (Dean) DePasquale and Raymond Viggiano; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Dan IV, Courtney, Zachary, Arianna, Bella, David, Jr., Brianna, Hannah, Jordain, Cheyenne, Anthony, Dean, Nicholas, Jackson Ava, MJ, and Yza; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Farone & Son, Inc. Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday 10 a.m. at the funeral home 1500 Park St. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
