Angelo Consilvio, 94, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Monday at the Francis House. He was born in Dunmore, PA and lived in Syracuse for most of his life. Angelo retired from RE Dietz where he worked for 40 years. A communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, he was a car enthusiast and enjoyed reading and western movies. His greatest years were spent with his wife of 58 years, Angelina, who passed away in 2011, enjoying family parties and her delicious food. Survivors include his children, MaryAnn, Maria, and William; his granddaughter, Delanie whom he adored and was most proud of; sisters-in-law, Melina (Abe) Remson, Josie (Mac) Gervasi-McCulley, and Gina (Ramin) Gervasi-Zargarian; several cousins. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 7th, 4-6 p.m. at FARONE & SON Inc Funeral Home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse. Funeral services will be conducted Friday April 8th, 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home and 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Contributions may be made to the Francis House, 108 Michaels Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13208.
