Crisenza D’Eredita Fanizzi, 104, of Lyncourt, passed away at home on Saturday. For over a century Crisenza Fanizzi graced the earth with her beauty, generosity, humor, hospitality and warmth. The experiences of her life shaped the magnificent mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that she became; appreciating everyday and every moment with family. Her home was a gathering place for everyone that ever crossed her path. Strangers left with full bellies, warm hearts, and memories that lasted a life time. They were always welcomed back as family. She left an indelible legacy of warm with anyone who was fortunate enough to spend time with her. A truly beautiful soul who’s longevity was a testament to the blessed enjoyment with which she approached every day. She is predeceased by her husband, Cosmo Fanizzi; two daughters, Nancy Conti and Erica Fanizzi, two sons-in-law, Dr. Anthony Conti and William J. Watt; great-granddaughter, Brooke DeRoberts. She is survived by her daughters, Theresa A. Watt of Fayetteville and Linda (Robbie) Wells of Las Vegas; sons, Cosmo (Linda) Fanizzi, Jr., of Bridgeport and John (Linda) Fanizzi of Cicero; 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 20, at FARONE & SON, INC., Funeral Home, 4899 W. Taft Rd., Liverpool, from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday 10 a.m. at the funeral home, 4899 W. Taft Rd. Liverpool. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the William J. Watt Endowment Foundation or the Dr. Anthony P. Conti/Carhart Fund through the St. Joseph’s Foundation, 973 James St. Suite 250, Syracuse, NY 13203.
