Denise Mary Moore Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Denise Mary Moore, 69, of Port St Lucie, FL. Denise passed away on July 27, 2021, due to complications from liver cancer. Denise is survived by her sons, Kenneth Michael Moore of New York City, NY, and Robert Edward Moore of Killeen, TX, her grandchildren, Cameron and Connor Moore of TX, as well as her mother, Patricia Tawil of Port St Lucie, FL, and sisters, Melinda Roth of Deptford, NJ, Anita Amidon of Marcellus, NY, and Cheryl Bracy of Port Charlotte, FL. Denise raised her family in Jamesville, NY. She was always a loving and supportive mother, and was especially proud of her sons for what and who they have become as adults. Their success in their personal and professional lives brought joy to her bright, blue eyes, and she was never happier than when they were visiting. After working for many years in the medical insurance industry, Denise had grand plans to retire and travel the world. While events did not allow for that, she was recently thrilled to visit the Dominican Republic (where she spent summers in her youth) for a nephew¹s wedding. To quench her thirst for travel and knowledge, Denise had a passion for reading, and she loved watching quirky television shows. One of Denise’s greatest sources of pride was her home and the life that she was able to build in Florida after leaving NY. She was a hard worker, and never took charity from anyone, no matter the circumstance. Denise bought a condo down the street from her mother, and the two enjoyed a loving, feisty friendship, similar to The Golden Girls. Denise also enjoyed a girls’ night out with pizza with her many friends and colleagues. She will be missed dearly by all.
