Dorcas Anne (Williams) MacDonald, 75, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022. Dorcas was born in Newport News, Virginia on November 29, 1946 to the late Thomas and Irene Williams. Dorcas met her husband, David MacDonald at Hampton Institute and they were married on September 30, 1967. She was predeceased by her brother, Zarlie “Tommy”. Dorcas is survived by David; her children, Joseph (Brenda), Jennifer (John), and Jeffrey (Stephanie; grandchildren, Kharee, Joseph, and Diego; siblings, Timothy, Robin, Hazel, and David; many nieces and nephews. Although she has been called to glory, she has left an indelible mark on the lives of those touched by her love, generosity, and beautiful spirit. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 14th, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Tucker Missionary Baptist Church, 515 Oakwood Avenue, Syracuse, followed by a memorial service at 12 p.m.
