Fletcher Nicholson, Jr., 54, of Syracuse passed away on Sunday at Upstate University Hospital. Fletcher was self employed and worked as a painter for many years. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and cooking, but most importantly, he loved spending time with his family. Fletcher was meticulous about his car, and could always be found cleaning and waxing it. He also loved his trips to the casino. He is predeceased by his parents, Fletcher and Shirley Nicholson; sisters, Dora Johnson and Gladys Lewis; and God-brother, Jimmie Page. Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years Stacy; children, Teyeka (Matt) Johnson, Shenika Nicholson (The Weezy), Fletcher Nicholson, III (Cindy), Fletcher Nicholson, III, Shytese Nicholson, and Mariah, Khadijah, and Manquell Draper; siblings, Moses Nicholson, Dolly (Ronald) Stephens, and Bronson Nicholson; God-sisters, Linda, Beverly, and Elaine Page; grandchildren, Ny-lik, Nyliasha, Ananias, Zacharias, Zemira, Ke’nare, Ke’norie, Ke’ziah, and Ke’nariah; a host of additional grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 15th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at FARONE & SON, Inc. Funeral Home, 1500 Park Street. A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
