John Paige

March 4, 1971 - March 30, 2022

John Paige better known as “Blaze” departed this life March 30, 2022 at 4:22pm at Upstate Hospital surrounded by his loved ones. John was predeceased in death by his grandparents Rev Clarence .E. Paige Sr. and Mattie L. Paige. Mother Lillian J. Pheonix, Father Clarence E. Paige Jr and, brother Clarence M.D. Paige 3rd. He leaves behind to carry on his legacy his children Johnesha Cardwell (Chris), Kenneth Elliot, John Paige Jr (Cardwell), Jayontay Asencio (Edward), Jaquashia Paige, Johnny Paige, Nyeisha Paige and Joanne Paige. Grandkids John Paige Cardwell Jr, Ariana Collins, L’onden Terry, Sincere Cardwell, Mekhi Crawley, Ma’laiah Delee, Kali-Reign Paige, Alivia Porter, True Cardwell and Ni’Liegn Howington. Partner Monique Williams. Siblings Leah N. Paige, Linda R. Paige, Angelic R. Paige, Carlos R. Paige, and Charleston E. Paige. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones. John came fighting his way into this world on March 4, 1971 in Syracuse NY where he attended the Syracuse City School District. He later worked at the civic center, Coleman and sons and did local roofing. In his spare time, he enjoyed dancing, listening to music, cooking and being around the elderly. He had an old soul. He was great with electronics always using his hands. John loved his children and grandchildren more than anything in this world. We love you and will miss you Blaze. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, April 12th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a service to follow at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 1034 Montgomery Street.
