Lee Grant Howard, Sr., 78, of Syracuse, passed away in the comfort of his home on Monday, June 6, 2022. Lee retired from the Carpenter's Local 12 as a carpenter for over 35 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Ollie Howard; brothers, Walter (Delores) Howard, Sr., Fred Howard, Jr., and Melton Howard, Sr.; and sister, Norma Robinson. Lee is survived by his six daughters, Zina (Roosevelt) Chandler, Paula Straughter, Yolanda Howard of Yonkers, NY, Nicole and Tiffany Howard, and Crystal (Louis) Rivers of Pensacola, FL; sons, Lee Grant (Lamonde) Howard, Jr. of Houston, TX, Sean (Shaquoya) Jason Howard of Syracuse, NY; brother, Ernest (Cathy) Howard; sisters, Marcia (Ferdie) Stockard and Mother Marva Jean Sparks of Schenectady, NY; sisters-in-law, Robin of Boston, MA and Valerie of Binghamton, NY; 30 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. Lee was married to Linda (Isaac) Howard of Houston, TX for 45 years; a longtime companion, Ms. Lee Alexander of Syracuse NY. Calling hours: Saturday, June 11th, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at FARONE & SON Inc Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12 p.m. Repass will be held at Harlem Knights Event Center, 4106 S. Salina Street.
