Marie (Zingaro) Spadaro Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Marie (Zingaro) Spadaro, 98, of Auburn, formerly of Syracuse and Fayetteville, passed away Thursday at The Commons at St. Anthony in Auburn. Marie was a former employee of Remington Rand but devoted most of her life as a homemaker. She also worked as a receptionist for a pediatrician’s office. An avid cook, Marie also enjoyed crocheting. She was predeceased by her husband, Carmen S. Spadaro; brothers, Johnny (Ann), Carmen “Babe” (Helen), Robert (Carm), Philip (Gerry), and Jackie (Jean) Zingaro; sisters, Ella (Paul) Rockwood, Irene (Joseph) DeSantis, Virginia (Angelo) Cerio, and Roslyn (Joe) Valentino. Marie is survived by daughter, Mary (George) Daniels; son, Daniel (Wynona) Spadaro; grandchildren, Sara (Brian) Martin, Philip (Jennifer) Spadaro, Emily (Jonathan) Gintonio, John (Katie) Spadaro, Elizabeth (Ben) Giancola, and Timothy Daniels; five greatgrandchildren, Eli and Mariam Gintonio, Austin and Olivia Spadaro, and Gabriella Giancola; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours: Tuesday, June 14th, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at FARONE & SON Inc Funeral Home, 4899 W. Taft Road, Liverpool. A funeral service to honor Marie’s life will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Assumption Cemetery.
